Synopsis by Robert Firsching
Greek filmmaker Kostas Karayiannis wrote and directed this above average romantic comedy about a free-spirited office worker named Kakia (Christina Sylva). Slightly ahead of her time in terms of her uncompromising independence and strong will, Kakia constantly butts heads with her employers, who demand absolute obedience without question. Kakia's independent streak extends to her romantic life as well, and when she is romanced by the wealthy young Andreas (Takis Varlamos), she makes it quite clear to him that he cannot buy her obedience with an expensive apartment, fast cars, diamonds, or furs. Kakia cares little for materialistic pleasures, she makes clear, because there are far more important values in life. Efi Economou co-stars with Yiannis Gionakis and Koula Agayiotou.
