As evidenced by the astounding success of James Cameron's movie Titanic, the doomed ship and its sinking hold a compulsive fascination for millions of people. Titanic: The Mystery & the Legacy Echoes of the Titanic is the first of the five-part series Titanic: The Mystery & the Legacy, released by Madacy Entertainment. The first tape features interviews, recollections, and archival footage about the fateful maiden voyage of the Titanic. Walter Lord, author of the book about the Titanic titled A Night to Remember, recalls two dozen stories that survivors told to him personally, while survivor Eva Hart gives her own account of the events of April 14th and 15th, 1912. The video concludes that there are still unexplained mysteries about the sinking. The other volumes in the set are Titanic Remembered, The Captain of the Titanic, End of an Era, and The Mystery and the Legacy.
