Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Created by Jay R. and Sidney M. Cohen, the weekly "intellectual" game show Timechase debuted over Canada's History Television cable network in 1997. On each half-hour episode, three contestants attempted to answer historical questions in a three-round progression, with every round divided into decades. Sheldon Turcott handled the hosting chores. Although Timechase lasted only two years, its basic premise was employed by scores of televised game shows throughout the world.
