Not to be confused with the cable TV documentary series of the same name, Time Travellers was the pilot for a proposed reality show. In this one, contestants attempted to survive in conditions simulating specific historical periods. In the opener, the players are plunked into a recreation of the 1850 California gold rush. Competing for merchandise prizes and a 10,000-dollar grand prize, the contestants also had to avoid being dropped during the standard elimination rounds.
