Synopsis by Nathan Southern

The film Left Behind Prophecy serves as something of a home video companion piece to the phenomenally bestselling Left Behind franchise of twelve novels by Tim LaHaye and Navigators founder Jerry B. Jenkins. Whereas as the original books dramatize the Revelation of St. John the Divine - and thus the events surrounding Christ's return - in the form of narrative fiction, the Left Behind Prophecy video (a co-presentation of LaHaye's Prophecy Institute and the Total Content label) explores the truth behind the Revelation prophecies in documentary form, and asks some serious questions regarding: the timing of the Messiah's second coming and the rise of the Antichrist, the events that will unfold on Earth before, during, and after the tribulation, the end of the world per se, and - most importantly - what Christians and non-Christians should do to prepare for these apocalyptic events.
