Mr. Roper (Norman Fell) suddenly begins hearing voices. No, he isn't losing his mind -- he's just hearing the sounds passing along the pipes in the apartment building. Roper's eavesdropping leads him to conclude that his tenant Chrissy (Suzanne Somers) is pregnant. Actually, her "problem" involves a pesky wart -- but why should Roper pause long enough to get all the facts, something he's never done in his life? This is the first Three's Company episode in which Joyce DeWitt (Janice) does not appear.
