Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Although they didn't label it as such back in 1966, a "parallel universe" was what the Paradock family lived in on the British comedy series Three Rousing Tinkles. The humor arose from the fact that everything "normal" was twisted around by Middie and Bro Paradock and their equally zany friends. Although the original BBC2 run of Three Rousing Tinkles was a mere three episodes, the premise proved popular enough to warrant a pair of sequels, Four Tall Tinkles and A Resounding Tinkle. In addition, series costar Pauline Devaney (Middie Paradock) went on to greater success as a comedy writer, responsible for such sitcoms as All Gas and Gaiters.
