Synopsis by Jonathan Crow

Lau Hung-chuen directs this unlikely gangster horror flick about mob hitman Yung (Louis Koo Tin-lok) who bungles a job by injuring a loan shark he was only supposed to scare. On the lam, he meets and falls for a beautiful lass named Feng Yu-san (Cheung Yuk-san), who makes a living by making ceremonial dolls -- all of them baring a vague resemblance to Yung -- used during funerals. When the loanshark's henchmen track him down, Yung barely escapes though Yu-san dies after taking a bullet for him. Yu-san then returns from the dead as a ghost, giving Yung the strength and moral support needed to kill the baddies. This film was one of four films with the same title that came out in Hong Kong within a two-year period.
