This video is an episode of the popular PBS series This Old House, which features home improvement projects. This program begins in Boston Harbor, aboard the U.S.S. Constitution, which is docked in the historic Charlestown Navy Yard. The show's crew takes a tour of Bunker Hill, and then enjoys some of the classic 17th and 18th century architecture of the area. Host Steve Thomas gets some background on the history of the area, and then meets with a young couple who are interested in renovating their 1865 Second Empire-style brick townhouse. They meet with architect Jack French to discuss ideas, and then tour some of Jack's other restorations.
