Synopsis by Brian J. Dillard

In this episode of This Life, Warren (Jason Hughes) and the rest of the house deal with the aftermath of Warren's arrest in the previous episode, This Life: How to Get in Bed by Advertising. Miles (Jack Davenport) at first seems to blame Warren for his own troubles, but after a tongue-lashing from Anna (Daniela Nardini), he begins defending his flatmate. At work, Miles gives some scut work to Anna, but she soon turns up a promising lead that helps Miles win his case; when he fails to give Anna the proper credit, she becomes incensed. Meanwhile, Ferdy (Ramon Tikaram) spies on his ex-fiancée, Mia (Danielle Tarento), then hooks up with a handsome stranger in Warren's bedroom. Mia later turns up at the flat and attacks Miles, whom she believes to be Ferdy's boyfriend. Given all the friction in the house, Ferdy considers moving into a bedsit, but Warren persuades him to stay and help him through his upcoming ordeal. When Kira (Luisa Bradshaw-White) breaks her big date with Jo (Steve John Shepherd) to console Warren, Rachel (Natasha Little) predicts that the elusive Jo will soon be eating out of Kira's hand. At work, Warren initially receives the support of his boss, O'Donnell (David Mallinson), but after a South London newspaper reporter runs a story about Warren, O'Donnell fires him and tries to dissuade Milly (Amita Dhiri) from defending him in court. Series two, episode five of the cult-favorite British soap This Life: Small Town Boyo first aired on BBC 2 on April 14, 1997.
