Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this drama, three cranky old survivors of India's independence movement are headed by train from Bombay to Rajpur, to celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the founding of the boarding school they all went to. As they travel, each neatly dissect how each of the others has made a failure of his life. Meanwhile, a serious political confrontation is taking place in Rajpur, which could disrupt the approaching celebration. As the old-timers observe the unfolding of these events, they recollect their own highly reproachable pasts when, in similar circumstances, they acted against their consciences.
