Synopsis by Augustine Chay
Award-winning filmmaker Alexandra Shiva presents an intimate, empathic, and unsentimental look at the lives of four Syrian refugee families in Baltimore over a period of eight months. After this period, they will all be expected to be self-sufficient and no longer dependent on the International Rescue Committee for aid or assistance.
