Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Not to be confused with the 1969 BBC sitcom of the same name, Yorkshire Television's Thicker Than Water began life as a one-off pilot episode titled Where There's Brass. Joss Ackland starred as Joseph Lockwood, a widower with two unmarried sons. The humor arose from Joseph's tireless efforts to marry off his overaged youngsters and get them out of what was left of his hair. Thicker Than Water ran for six episodes, which aired in Great Britain from April 28 to June 9, 1981.
