Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Lottie Pickford, troubled sister of silent superstar Mary Pickford, stars in this routine melodrama, which was released -- and received -- without much enthusiasm. Henry Seldon (Paul Weigel) is victimized by three of his business associates and winds up in jail. He calls back his daughter, Margaret (Lottie), from boarding school, and makes her swear vengeance. After Seldon dies in jail, Margaret sets out to keep her promise. She ruins Amos Colby (George Periolat), who swindled her father on Wall Street, by keeping him from doing the same thing to two other men. Margaret then discovers that the second man, Courtland Wells (Lloyd Whitlock), is engaged to an heiress, so she dresses up as a Spanish dancer and seduces him in the girl's home. Then she falls in love with Allan Forbes (Allan Forrest), only to discover that he is the son of the third man. In the end she stays true to her oath and sends Allan away.
