Shane McConkey is a pioneer of the relatively new sport of free-skiing. He and others blazed the trail for up-and-comers by quitting the "official" ski sports and making their mark in the new extreme sports arena. This documentary follows McConkey's uphill battle to form a career for himself and to establish the sport as a whole. The show features excellent dynamic footage of the athletes in action including McConkey and pals Jonny Moseley, Seth Morrison, Kent Kreitler, and Brad Holmes.
