Directed by Alfonso Pineda Ulloa, the crime thriller tells the tale of a man imprisoned for a crime he did not commit and the lengths he goes to for revenge upon release. When the man known as the Jesuit (José María Yazpik) finds out that his wife has been murdered and his son has been kidnapped and taken to Mexico, he develops an elaborate plan to rescue his child and exact vengeance for his wife's death. This takes him on a convoluted path where he treads both sides of the law, even as he tries to atone for past crimes.
