This cable-TV documentary series offered a wide-ranging overview of human sexuality through the years. Individual episode titles included "Sex in the American Revolution," "Sex in World War I," "Sex in the Vietnam War," and even "Sex in the Bible." The program that received the largest amount of press attention was "History of the Wife," hosted by ABC news correspondent Cokie Roberts. The XY Factor was first telecast in early 2002, then released for home viewer by History Channel's video division.
