Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The police are convinced that the mother of eight-year-old Tommy Conlin (Gavin Fink) stabbed herself to death. But Tommy insists that his mom was killed by monsters. At first uncertain whether or not this is a case for the X-Files, Doggett (Robert Patrick), Reyes (Annabeth Gish), and fellow agent Leyla Harrison (Jolie Jenkins) nonetheless follow up Tommy's claims -- while the boy's taciturn grandmother puts up formidable opposition. "Scary Monsters" was first broadcast on April 14, 2002.
