Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Part one of a two-part X-Files drama, "Tempus Fugit" first aired March 16, 1997. Agents Mulder and Scully are not all that surprised when Sharon Graffia (Chilton Crane) reports that her brother Max Fenig (Scott Bellis) has been kidnapped by extraterrestrials. After all, Max is probably the most frequent alien abductee ever to appear in the X-Files. This time, however, Max was carrying "something the government would kill for" when the plane on which he was traveling inexplicably crashed. The results of the agents' investigation would not be revealed until the following week's episode, "Max." "Tempus Fugit" was written by Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz.
