Frankie Chan Fan-kei spins this morbid comic thriller starring Anita Yuen and Takeshi Kaneshiro. Kwong Mei-chi (Yuen) is a dolorous and very lonely mortician who also must take care of her mentally challenged sister Mei-yee. After a deranged murderer and rapist named Pal (Sin Lap-man) violates Mei-yee and then throws the lass off a building, Mei-chi blames the crime on her psychologist Dr. Ko (Kaneshiro), even though he was in hot pursuit of the actual killer. Nonetheless, Mei-chi is hell-bent on revenge and makes numerous attempts on his life. Just when she is about to go for another go, Ko gets felled in a car accident. The driver is none other than Pal, whom Mei-chi is convinced is her savior. Meanwhile, Ko desperately tries to clear his name and convince Mei-chi who the real villain is.
