Usually playing prize fighters, wiry Billy Sullivan was cast against type as a wealthy young idler in this silent action melodrama produced and directed by Harry J. Brown. Scotty McTavish (Sullivan) falls in love with Patsy Thorne (Lucille Hutton) and obtains a job in her father's railroad company. When Thorne (George B. Williams) gets in trouble with a former employee, McTavish takes matters into his own hands, beating the railroad company's resident slugger (Tom O'Brien) along the way. Cashing in on his family connection to legendary heavyweight champion John L. Sullivan, Billy Sullivan starred in a series of low-budget action melodramas without ever reaching major stardom. His screen career lasted through the mid-'30s.
