Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Vivian Rich stars in this unusual little drama. When a young girl (Rich) has troubles at home, her father puts her in a girls' home. She is unhappy there and when she is falsely accused of stealing a brooch, she runs away. On the streets she gets involved with a gang of crooks and becomes a thief for real. Known only as the Wasp, she turns out to be quite talented at her new profession. She has one close call, however, and only eludes the police with the help of Hart, a distinguished businessman. The Wasp decides to go straight and goes to work for a charitable bureau. When the bureau runs out of funds, though, she decides to return to her life of crime so that she can help those in need. She burglarizes several houses, including Hart's, and each time she leaves a note explaining that the valuables have been stolen to help suffering humanity. When the Wasp writes Hart a note asking him to find work for a friend, he recognizes the writing and confronts her. She explains everything and he sees that, indeed, the bureau is flourishing. To put the Wasp back on track, he writes the bureau a big check. The friendship between Hart and the Wasp evolves into romance.
