Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Russian actor Boris Bullock took the name Kit Carson for a series of extremely low-budget westerns released by producer-director Robert J. Horner 1925-1926. The Carson westerns were considered near the bottom of the ladder, prestige-wise, and played only the most desperate rural theaters. In The Walloping Kid a former prize-fighter turned rancher (Carson) masquerades as a bandit in order to infiltrate a gang of outlaws. Following the demise of the short-lived Carson series, Bullock returned to his old moniker and played mainly heavies. He later changed his name once again to, of all things, William Barrymore, but sound ultimately became an insurmountable barrier, and he retired.
