Scott Dow's self-aware horror comedy The Walking Deceased centers on a sheriff and his son, who must stay alive during a zombie apocalypse. The filmmakers wryly acknowledge many of the genre tropes found in most zombie movies, while still serving up the levels of gore fans of these movies have come to expect.
