This Egyptian comedy takes a sharp look at effects of U.S. aid. The film is set in the village of El-Dahryia in the Nile delta. When the local council president Allalah hears rumors that the Egyptian and U.S. presidents will pause in his village during their train ride from Cairo to Alexandria he is thrilled. He and his council decree that only pregnant woman will receive food aid. Suddenly every woman in town is trying to get pregnant.
