Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Before the Ugly Duckling of Hans Christian Anderson's timeless fable turned into a beautiful swan, he was just a friendly hatchling nicknamed "Ugly" who learned a series of important life lessons along his best friend Ratso - a fun-loving sewer rat from the big city. In this collection of three episodes from the popular children's series, Ugly and Ratso learn that even life's biggest problems can turn out alright when handled with a little bit of grace and style. In "Married with Peep," Ratso accidentally winds up married to his arch nemesis Peep Olga, prompting loyal friend Ugly to try and make peace between the long-feuding pair. "Big Red Rooster" finds a handsome male fowl arriving in the barnyard intent on seducing Daphne, and "The Ring and I" follows Ratso as he discovers a ring that can grant its owner's every wish, and soon finds the barnyard falling apart.
