Synopsis by Jonathan Crow
Wong Shee-tong spins this oddball combination of ghost story and kung-fu spectacular. After dying, Mo Tsai (Huang Chia-da, also known as '70s martial arts icon Carter Wong) is told that he will not be reincarnated as a human because of his numerous dirty deeds performed over his lifetime. Yet when Mo wins a round of cards against his supernatural judge, he is allowed a brief window of time to return to the land of the living and set his fate right again. Aided by his recently deceased granddaughter Jojo who, in spite of being dead has the use of her body for 49 days after her demise, Mo sets out looking for a suitably masculine host for his spirit. He settles on her hunky living boyfriend. Taoist master and flower shop owner Sis Chan (Cynthia Yang Li-ching) steps in to defend the lad's spirit and a big kung-fu battle between the dead and living ensues.
