On the heels of his mother's (Katharine McPhee) untimely passing, shy and timid twelve-year-old Rob (Christian Convery) and his father (Sam Trammell) move to a motel in a remote Florida town. While exploring the forest near the motel, Rob stumbles upon a great tiger trapped in a cage. With the help of his new friend Sistine (Madalen Mills), Rob learns the value of acknowledging one's grief while learning to carry on after the duo liberates the big cat. Ray Giarratana directs the adaptation of the novel of the same name by Kate DiCamillo. Co-starring Queen Latifah and Dennis Quaid.
