Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A pair of American ESL kindergarten teachers in Taiwan steal the corpse of a recently deceased fellow countryman, and set out to ensure he receives a proper burial in this seriocomic adventure comedy. Darin (Jeff Palmiotti) and Simon (Billy Harvey) barely knew the man they intend to bury; all they know is that he perished in a strange land, and deserves to rest in peace. As the two men cruise down Taiwan's East Coast Highway in search of a suitable burial site, they cross paths with Nikita (Leonora Lim) -- a kindhearted stranger who seems sympathetic to their plight. Still, the journey won't be an easy one, because danger lies around every corner in the so-called "Wild Wild East," and when Darin and Simon aren't running from vicious gangsters, their personal demons are still closing in fast. Fortunately, for every ruthless thug in Taiwan there's also a benevolent stranger who's willing to lend the pair a helping hand.
