Synopsis by Hal Erickson
In the tradition of Survivor, the British game show The Syndicate followed the destinies of two teams of contestants throughout an entire season's worth of general-knowledge and technical quizzes. Each team (consisting of two players) was asked questions based on the other team's realm of expertise. After several elimination rounds, the finalists squared off during the 15th and final program. Somewhat reminiscent of the 1980s series Masterteam, The Syndicate was broadcast by BBC1 from June 26 to September 15, 2000.
