Synopsis by Hal Erickson
On this British game show, celebrity contestants were called upon to provide answers to general-knowledge questions. It was then up to members of the studio audience to wager on whether or not the celeb's answers were right or wrong. Those who guessed correctly were allowed to continue playing the game until one final winner (again a "civilian" from the audience) was chosen. The Sweepstakes Game briefly aired over London Weekend Television in 1976.
