Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Theda Bara wasn't the only vamp at the Fox studios, the company heads always had a few others meant, at the very least, to keep their star in line. One of these was Genevieve Hamper, and the fact that she is only vaguely -- if at all -- recalled today shows that she wasn't much of a threat to Bara's popularity. In this film, Hamper plays a woman named Blanche, who with the aid of whiskey and her wiles, brings down Delano (Robert B. Mitchell). With the help of Lantier (Stuart Holmes), she plans to wreak more havoc, but Lantier's innocent daughter Nana (Claire Whitney) is saved from becoming embroiled in their evildoing by a young American, Richard Lee (Walter Miller).
