Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The titular commodity in this Vitagraph comedy-fantasy is purchased by an absent-minded anatomy professor. En route to his job, the professor inadvertently leaves the skeleton sitting on a park bench. A group of prankish kids decide to put a suit of clothes on the "bag of bones" and prop it up against a wall. Along comes a policeman, who promptly arrests the skeleton for vagrancy. The cop and his desk sergeant are sorely annoyed when the "prisoner" turns out to have taken leave of his skin. Suddenly, the skeleton comes to life, thoroughly terrifying the entire police force.
