Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Montagu Love plays John Masters, boss of a lumber camp, which he inherits from his father (Robert Broderick). When he goes to the city to familiarize himself with the politics involved, he realizes he has gotten more than he bargained for. The elder Masters, along with a contractor named Armitage (George DeCarlton) have been bilking the city out of thousands of dollars. John also meets and falls in love with Armitage's daughter, Frances (Barbara Castleton). He strongarms her into marrying him, and for a long time she wants nothing to do with him as a husband. Only after John kidnaps her to the lumber camp does he tell Frances about what both their fathers have done. Frances's former suitor, Ellery Dale (Frank Mayo), has sent a group of thugs to assault John, but Frances, now glad to be his wife, saves him.
