Synopsis by Phil Griffin
Daniel Jones (Adam Driver) is tasked by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (Annette Bening) to lead the Senate Intelligence Committee’s investigation into the “enhanced interrogation techniques” used by the CIA after 9/11. Jones spends five years compiling an incriminating 7,000-page report that reveals the CIA violated the Geneva Convention, torturing prisoners and ultimately gaining no helpful information from it. But even after the election of President Obama, Jones finds himself being silenced and his report being buried by the White House and the CIA. Written and directed by Scott Z. Burns.
