Synopsis by Nathan Southern

As created by writer-producer-director Marc Goldstein, the documentary Play of Light features revealing discussions with numerous heavyweights from the diamond world, who explain their shared passion for the most precious and beloved of all gemstones. Participants include Centenary diamond cutter Gabi Tolkowsky; Olivier Korn, who turns up to discuss the origins of the legendary "Buddha Cut" diamond; and others, such as David Krochmal, Seema Javeri and Eddy Elzas. In addition to this, the film follows a diamond from its early "in the rough" stages to its final phase as a sellable treasure.
