When Annie realizes just how far she has fallen and begins to see her reprehensible lover for the monster he truly is, she packs her bags and sets off to marry wealthy real-estate heir Richard. But Brent isn't willing to let his lucrative partner off the hook quite so easily, and soon sets out to locate Annie and convince her that their work together isn't finished just yet.
