Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Dr. Samuel Stein (Mark Hamill) is desperately in love with his comatose colleague, Dr. Rachel Carter (Debrah Farentino). In an effort to declare the length and breadth of his ardor, Howard uses a revolutionary Virtual Reality process called C.A.V.E. (Computer Aided Visual Environment) to enter Rachel's mind. He soon discovers to his dismay, that, even with the aid futuristic technology, simply wanting something to happen is never quite enough. Featured in the cast is Peter Breck, who guest starred on the original Outer Limits of the 1960s. "Mind Over Matter" was first broadcast on February 2, 1996.
