Synopsis by Janiss Garza
"The Orphan" is an odd name for an outlaw who strikes fear into the hearts of everyone in the West, but that's exactly what they call William Farnum's character. When he was a child, his father was shot to death, and he has been seeking to avenge the murder ever since. But the orphan is not as bad a guy as he appears to be. In fact, he saves Sheriff Jim Fields (George Nichols) from wild Indians, and later rescues Fields' niece Helen (Louise Lovely) when the stage coach she is on is attacked. Helen encourages him to reform, but first he serves justice to his father's killer.
