This championship game was one of the most exciting face-offs between two college teams in the last years of the 20th century. The University of Arizona Wildcats took to the court against Kentucky. Coach Lute Olsen's strong guidance led his Wildcats to an 84-79 win. This video features some of the outstanding players and plays of the game, including Arizona guard Miles Simon, who scored 30 points in the game and made several clutch jump shots in overtime, earning him tournament MVP honors, and Kentucky's senior point guard Anthony Epps, who forced overtime by nailing a game-tying three-point shot at the end of regulation.
