This episode of The Mysteries of Egypt concentrates on the life and reign of one of Egypt's greatest rulers, Rameses II. Through expert commentary, the major events of his life are examined, from the building of the temples of Karnak and Luxor to the controversy over whether or not Rameses was in fact the pharaoh of the Moses legend in the book of Exodus. Also included is some discussion of how life was for the average Egyptian during Rameses' reign.
