Synopsis by Sarah Ing

The Method workouts provide an alternative to the usual exercise video. The All-In-One Workout is no exception. Designed for the at-home viewer who seeks a different sort of routine, the Method combines moves from an assortment of styles. A dancy segment introduces the lesson with isolation exercises and general warm-up. The movements get a little more complicated for the next half hour. Part aerobic, part jazz, the second part provides steps for toning and stamina. The beginner might find the Method difficult, but the teachers are thorough and precise. The third segment, described as a "centering makeover," does indeed target the middle zone. The abdominal exercises are tough. To round out the video, the Method concludes with a stretching segment. After working so hard for over an hour, the last part is much appreciated. Many of the movements can also be done with weights. The All-In-One Workout lives up to its claim, providing a multi-faceted lesson that challenges the entire body.
