Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Rhoda (Valerie Harper) has made up her mind to return to New York, leaving her best pal, Mary (Mary Tyler Moore), devastated. During her farewell party, Rhoda begins getting cold feet about her move -- but is extremely reluctant to say so. Georgia Engel makes her first series appearance as Ted Baxter's squeaky-voiced girlfriend, Georgette Franklin. Anticipating Valerie Harper's graduation to her own sitcom two years later, "Rhoda Morganstern: Minneapolis to New York" was originally broadcast on December 16, 1972.
