Synopsis by Clare Perez-Izaguirre Lopez
This action comedy co-written by Terry Gilliam and Tony Grisoni tells the story of jaded film director Toby (Adam Driver) who confuses present day with the past after finding a bootleg copy of a film he made about Don Quixote, as a student. In this film, he recruited a Spanish cobbler (Jonathan Pryce) to play the main role, though this same man now believes Toby is his loyal sidekick Sancho Panza adding to the confusion between film, film characters and real life. Directed by Terry Gilliam.
