Synopsis by Tom Ciampoli
The story of the man who prosecuted future chancellor and villain Adolf Hitler is adapted in this made-for-television drama from director Justin Hardy. Ed Stoppard plays Hans Litten, a man looking for justice after members of the tyrannic Nazi military group known as the "SA" murder several members of the Eden Palace Club. Litten's thirst for justice, and Jewish faith, drive him to prosecute and take down the anti-Semitic Hitler and his stormtroopers, in a case that threatens to destroy Litten's career and his life. Written by Mark Hayhurst, the film co-stars Bill Paterson and Sarah Smart as Litten's secretary, Margot Furst.
