Synopsis by Jonathan Crow

Hong Kong comedian Stephen Chiau stars this wacky farce as a two-bit con artist named Valentino who is apprenticing an equally hapless grifter (Teresa Mo Shun-kwan). When notorious gangster Tai-te (Roy Cheung Yiu-yeung) demands that his partner repay a stack of overdue debts, the two are forced to figure out a way to cough up some cash, and quick. Just as they are about to surrender to their inevitably violent fate, Valentino gets mistaken by the owners of an insanely posh house for a rich American cousin and allows him to move in. Of course, the occupants of the house – Apple (Amy Yip Chi-mei), Ping (Tien Niu), and Chow Yun-fatt (!) (Wu Ma) – are all grifters themselves, hired by Tai-te. After a spell when each is trying to cheat and swindle the others, they all join forces and try to shake down the big cheese himself.
