The country of Iran is the subject of this documentary, which skillfully uses many helicopter shots to give a suggestion of the vast size and landscape of that ancient country. Documentary director Albert Lamorisse (The Red Balloon) died in 1971 in a helicopter crash while making this film. His airborne camera footage was edited by Mehrdad Azarmi to make this picture.
