Millie and Al's egg business is struggling...and so is their marriage. Fortunately, they have a savior...reality television!
Following a chance encounter with a producer named Ira, Millie agrees for the family to be featured on Cut the Crap, hosted by everyone's favorite hippie-yogi, personal growth guru Angelica Lovecraft--the ultimate free-spirit, who lives in the moment with only the slightest grasp of reality.
Livid, Al refuses to participate--creating even more friction--spending most of his time on his boat. In just days, Ira realized that Millie is...well...boring! In an effort to spice things up, he follows Al, who is lunching with a mysterious woman, and hints to Millie that he might be doing more than fishing.
Just when divorce seems inevitable, Angelica uses her new age powers to remind the couple why they love each other and, in return, learns that it's fun to have your feet on the ground, rather than your head in the clouds.
