Synopsis by Jennifer Lackman
Julie, a teenager (Grace Tarnow) moves to La Porte, Indiana to live with her grandmother after her mother dies. Her grandmother, Karen (Dorothy Tristan) is an aging star in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's who is struggling to find common ground with her strong-willed granddaughter. A surprising revelation that Julie is a talented singer creates a bond between the generations as Karen shares her past as a singer and Julie is energized to pursue her dreams. Directed by John D. Hancock (Bang the Drum Slowly and (California Dreaming). Cast includes Jeff Puckett, Faith Marie, Anthony Panzica.
