Synopsis
A 19th-century mountain man flees to the Sierras after being falsely accused of a crime, and makes friends with a grizzly named Ben (who was actually a female named Bozo) in this family-friendly adventure. The series was based on a 1974 movie, which in turn was based (very loosely) on an actual mountain man who befriended animals. Star Dan Haggerty had been an animal trainer before taking up acting.
